Position Title: Lecturer - Surveying Engineering Location: Big Rapids (Main Campus) Department: 38200 - School of Built Enviroment Advertised Salary: Minimum of $48,633 per 9-month appointment, if terminal degree held in primary academic discipline the minimum rate increases to $54,286. Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FSU and FNTFO/AFT agreement. Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package (health care, vacation, etc.). FLSA: Exempt Temporary/Continuing: Temporary Part-Time/Full-Time: Full-Time Union Group: Ferris Nontenure-Track Faculty Organization (FNTFO) (AFT) Term of Position: As Needed At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause Summary of Position: Position responsibilities will include teaching A.A.S. and B.S. courses in an ABET-accredited surveying engineering program. Courses may include topics such as GIS, photogrammetry, surveying principles and adjustments, legal aspects, engineering ethics, etc. Work with fellow faculty members in the advancement of the Surveying curriculum.
