$21 per hour plus $1.75 shift differential 3rd shift hours: 10:30pm-6:30am, Sunday-Thursday Description of the Position: Responsible for providing direction to Forklift Operators, training, assigning work, and resolving problems within area of responsibility. Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials from rail cars in distribution center or storage yard. Responsibilities: - Supports and trains newly hired forklift operators within their area of responsibility. - Assists supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning, and directing work. - Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards. - Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
