Position Summary The Medical Assistant supports orthopedic, spine, and pain management practices by assisting providers with clinical care, patient preparation, and daily operational tasks. The MA plays a key role in ensuring efficient clinic flow, high quality patient experience, and accurate clinical documentation. This role prepares patients for exams, assists with in clinic procedures, and supports care coordination across the orthopedic and pain management specialties. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care & Clinical Support: - Prepares patients for orthopedic, spine, and pain evaluations, including collecting histories, pain scores, mobility assessments, and imaging reports. - Assists with in-office procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, wound care, cast/splint support, and EMG preparation (as applicable). - Performs vital signs, medication reconciliation, and pre procedure checklists specific to pain management and orthopedic workflows.
