Job description

The Team: - A fast paced work environment within a great team. - LGH Food Services provides meals to over 300 patients daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner) 365 days a year. - Shift work with a combination early morning starts, evening shifts, including a combination of weekdays and weekends. The Role: Based at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH), provide a high standard of Food Service to hospital patients, staff and patrons in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines. Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. - Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, production, service, plating, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice. - Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation’s Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including in the development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, safeguarding practices for vulnerable people, and related training. - Responsible for cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors,...
