Job DetailsJob Location: Valdosta, GA 31601Salary Range: $21.00 - $26.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyPosition Summary The Line Technician role is responsible for setting up and operating machines on the assigned production line while maintaining safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, and experience in machine diagnosis. Accountabilities: Downstream Pipe Packaging & Handling: Finished Goods Quality Housekeeping, Safety & Process Compliance Cross-training & Development Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate assigned production equipment, completing start-up/shut-down procedures, operating all assigned production lines in a safe, efficient, & productive manner while maximizing output. Work efficiently to maintain line speed to keep production flowing smoothly and prevent piles of pipe from forming. Perform corrective maintenance, repairs, or changeovers, performing mechanical adjustments to equipment, as needed during production. Compete electric work as per job requirements and training under NFPA 70E electrical and arch flash requirements. Operate forklift to move finished product.
