Department: 36311 Advocate Sherman Hospital - MRI Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Fulltime PM MRI tech position 3p-1130p. Weekend, call, and holiday rotation required. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Major Responsibilities: Determines appropriate MRI technique and positions patient using immobilization and support devices to ensure optimum image quality 1)Positions patient and adjusts equipment, immobilization and support devices as necessary, using tact and courtesy at all times 2)Determines appropriate MRI technique based on anatomy and patient’s condition to obtain quality images to provide Radiologist with a diagnostic tool. 3)Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test and records on appropriate form for Radiologists information. 4)MRI safety standards will be adhered to and strictly enforced. 5)Help in daily operations of ordering and stocking supplies Operation of advanced and sophisticated state of the art MRI equipment and PACS 1)Assists Radiologists with biopsy and specialty procedures requiring additional experience and knowledge. 2)Prepares MRI rooms for procedures and maintains equip...
