POSITION TITLE: CONVENIENCE STORE GENERAL MANAGER: DEPARTMENT: EXPRESS LANE / PITT STOP SOUTH CAROLINA: REPORTS TO: DISTRICT MANAGER: FLSA: EXEMPT / SALARY: POSITION SUMMARY: As a Convenience Store General Manager, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain an exceptional store experience for your guests. This is a salaried/exempt position and typically reports to the District Manager. The Convenience Store Manager will oversee a retail location’s staff and activities to achieve a profitable store location. The Store Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the store including stock control, overheads, staff, gross profit, and reporting. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Staff management: interview, selection, and training of all staff for the retail location. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff. Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies. Ensure store standards are consistently improved in terms of housekeeping, merchandising, presentation, and service.
