JOB CATEGORY: NURSE / NP / COMMUNITY HEALTH: POSITION SUMMARY: This is a professional position involving provision of direct patient care. Although most activities are performed independently, clinical oversight is provided by Physicians, Site Medical Director and/or Vice President of Clinical Affairs. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: - Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - Must have by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment: - New Mexico Board of Nursing license with certification as a Nurse Practitioner or as a Clinical Nurse Specialist / Family Practice or Certification from the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners. - DEA license - New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) - Medicare PIN and UPIN numbers - Medicaid Number - Have or be able to obtain BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. If you are assigned to a center with ACLS medications and/or equipment, you must have ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
