We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Staff Counsel office as a Lead Attorney for our Michigan location. This full time, exempt role offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to a high impact, growing legal team. As a Lead Attorney, you will provide legal representation to Hanover/Citizens insureds before courts and arbitration panels across all phases of litigation. The position is hybrid for those near the Michigan office, with fully remote candidates considered. Position Overview: Investigates and manages and tries the most complex cases in the region. This attorney’s inventory will possess the largest and most complex matters referred from claims. Other attorney’s may be assigned to work under this attorney’s direction on case-by-case basis where case complexity requires multiple attorneys to be assigned to the file.
