Plant Field Services Technician (Electrical)

Job description

This position will be located at Plant Barry (Bucks, Alabama) PROJECTED WORKLOAD & TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS: - Primary responsibility would be maintenance testing of protective relays and metering systems during plant shutdowns. Other duties will include backup support for battery maintenance testing, metering calibration, and transformer device testing. - Overtime work will be required periodically to support customer schedules. - Travel within the southern portion of the State of Alabama will be required. Expected travel requirements will be approximately 20%. Primary mode of transportation is driving. SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position will primarily support the following sites: Plant Barry, Plant Theodore, and Plant Washington County. Secondary support for Southern Company Renewable sites.
