75% FTE, 8/12 hour evening/night shifts, Monday - Friday with rotating weekends/holidays. Staggered start times between the hours of 7:00pm to 7:30am. This position covers University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital located in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: - Join our Venous Access Team (VAT) as a highly specialized nursing professional who focuses on the assessment, insertion, and maintenance of Dobhoff tubes and venous access devices for all age groups, including difficult to start peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC). - Provide consultative services and education to nursing and medical staff as needed. - Participate in development, maintenance and implementation of educational initiatives, policies, and procedures. - Maintain a collaborative relationship with multiple disciplines and team members who excel at interpersonal communication, prioritizing, leadership, strategic planning, critical thinking, and d...
