Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary: The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs leads McKelvey’s Office of Undergraduate Programs, which supports student academic success, retention, and degree progression of McKelvey’s 1,700 undergraduate students. The Associate Dean oversees the undergraduate advising that assists students in navigating, selecting and successfully completing the Bachelor of Science degree programs in Engineering. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Dean, the Vice Dean for Education, department chairs, faculty, and other school leaders, as well as the Office of the Provost, the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of University Registrar, and partner schools across WashU to ensure a consistent, high-quality undergraduate student experience. The Associate Dean also ensures compliance with and implementation of policies and processes for McKelvey undergraduate students. As required, the Associate Dean works in collaboration with the Vice Dean for Education to develop the necessary materials and engagements to support the accreditation of the undergraduate programs.
