Overview: Job Description Summary: Conducts research, publishes findings, and assists with teaching in a clinical setting. Job Description: Essential Functions: - Conducts independent research and experiments under the guidance of a principal investigator. - Analyzes and interprets research data, and prepares reports and manuscripts for publication. - Designs and executes experiments, and develops new research methodologies. - Presents research findings at scientific conferences and meetings. - Collaborates with other researchers and laboratory personnel to achieve research goals. - Assists in the training and supervision of graduate students and other laboratory personnel. Education Requirement: - Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school, international equivalent, or PhD, required. - All trainees functioning in NCH facilities must be in a program that has been approved by the NCH GMEC (Graduate Medical Education Committee) or in an approved residency program of an institution with which NCH has an educational affiliation agreement.
