SUMMARY OF THE JOB: Reporting to the CRE Manager for Commercial Real Estate Lending the incumbent is responsible for the production, underwriting, and closing of investment grade and community-based commercial real estate mortgages and the administration of an assigned real estate portfolio. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The incumbent is responsible for the management of a portfolio of commercial real estate mortgages including production, underwriting, and closing of investment grade and community-based mortgages. Conducts preliminary site and market inspections to generate new commercial real estate mortgages. Negotiates loan terms, conditions and loan documents. Performs underwriting analyses and prepares written loan summaries and documents. Determines whether investments meet the company’s established risk/reward criteria.
