Job description

Scope of Work Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed. Standard Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Education / Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required. Masters or Doctorate Degree preferred. Work Experience: Written or verbal communication skills required. Word processing and computer skills required. It is preferred that pediatric therapists have NDT certification and competency in serial casting. Certification, Licensure, Registration: Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required.
