Summary The primary purpose of the Graduate Assistant (GA) position is to provide essential support for departmental teaching, research, and administrative operations. It serves the dual purpose of advancing the Department’s mission while providing the GA with practical, supervised experience in clinical, instructional, administrative, or research tasks. This role is integral to developing GA’s professional competencies as a future practitioner, bridging academic training with hands-on departmental responsibilities. Essential Functions: Assist with clinical skills supervision and training by observing, co-facilitating, or providing feedback on student counseling sessions under licensed faculty supervision. Provide instructional support for core courses by leading discussion sections, grading assignments with rubrics, and providing detailed student feedback. Support faculty research through literature reviews, data collection, entry, analysis, and assistance in preparing manuscripts or conference presentations.
