Summary: The Remote Mower Operator (RMO) is responsible for safe and efficient vegetation management at utility-scale solar facilities using remote-controlled slope mowers and related equipment. This role ensures site access, array clearances, and grounds presentation that protect production, reduce fire risk, and maintain compliance with environmental and safety requirements. RMOs work both independently and with SFM Technicians to execute mowing plans, perform basic equipment care, document work, and escalate mechanical or site issues promptly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure that all co-workers and contractors demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with OSHA, NFPA, state and local codes, and Strata Solar O&M safety policies and procedures during the performance of facilities management activities. - Execute daily mowing plans using remote-controlled mowers to achieve acreage and quality targets while maintaining required setbacks and equipment clearances. - Conduct routine maintenance and repair of vegetation management equipment including, but not limited to remote mowers, mowers, tractors, string-trimmers, hedge trimmers, rotary cutters, tractor implemen...
