Description Definition of Position: Responsible for providing individualized and specialized nursing care in the Endoscopy Center with physician orders, utilizing the nursing process, legal aspects of current State of Illinois nurse practice, and the Endoscopy Center's policies and procedures. Demonstrates initiative insight and judgment in the decision-making process. Functions cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics. Seeks educational opportunities and accepts responsibilities for own professional growth and development. Participates with in-service opportunities and staff meetings. This position is Monday-Friday, 10 hour shifts between the hours of 6:30AM-5:30PM with a rotating day off each week. Enjoy a diverse workweek with rotation through multiple areas in the ambulatory surgery center. No nights, weekends and holidays!: 8 paid holidays including the day after Thanksgiving!
