Job description

Hourly pay rate: Hire is $18.45, 6 months $18.65, 1 year $19.10 Job Responsibilities: Help with movement of turkey clocks to confinement growing or range Work all scheduled weekends: Assist farm managers in all areas of production as needed Perform repairs, and maintenance on equipment and construction on projects as assigned by the supervisor Assist the wash crew, manure crews and the shavings delivery and all other areas as required Follow all sanitation and isolation procedures using tracking patterns Follow all safety policies and procedures as recommended Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor Minimum Qualifications: - Basic math skills/Able to read and write at 4th grade level - Able to work weekends & holidays - Cannot own or raise any type of fowl (i.e. turkeys, chickens, geese, pheasants, parakeets, etc.) - Able to meet all sanitation requirements/Able to work in a smoke free environment - PHYSICAL: Ability to work in a dusty environment with ammonia present in all weather conditions while using approved respiratory protection - Facial hair must not compromise respirator face to mask seal-No beards - Ability to twist, stoop, bend, squat, lift, carry, reach...
