Salary: £37,280 - £39,152 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours Interview date: Week commencing Monday 13 April 2026 We are seeking a driven and proactive Development Coordinator to join our busy Highways team. In this role, you will ensure contractors and works promoters meet their legal responsibilities helping to coordinate safe, compliant, and efficient development‑related works across Wiltshire. Through regular site inspections, you will verify compliance with a variety of regulations and permit conditions, issuing defect notices, documenting findings, and recovering costs where needed. Drawing on your expertise in street works, civil engineering, and traffic management, you can provide clear, practical guidance to developers, contractors, and the public, ensuring works are legally compliant, and carried out with the travelling public in mind. This role is a key interface between a range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with the Councils statutory duties under the Traffic Management Act, the New Roads and Street Works Act and the Highways Act 1980.
