Maintenance Planner & Scheduler

Job description

Description The Maintenance Planner-Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling all emergent and recurring maintenance work for the manufacturing production equipment and facility support equipment. They will also work to ensure high levels of equipment availability and coordination of maintenance activities with operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Proactively support all Employee Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures and policies to ensure the maintenance team can work safely. - Prepare work packages in the CMMS for every planned maintenance activity inclusive of Preventive Maintenance. - Maintains training and knowledge in the CMMS to ensure the work order system is used properly and that all planning and scheduling activities are conducted within the system. - Ensures all maintenance work order processes are kept up to date and clearly communicated to the maintenance team. - Maintain and Update daily Metrics (KPIs) on L1 and L2 boards. - Order, receive and supervise required material to assist maintenance activities. - Coordinate weekly maintenance planning and scheduling meetings. - Coordinate to rebuild spare equipment through external s...
