Instrumentation & Electrical Shop Technician Intermediate (Non-Rotational/Local Only)

Job description

Essential Duties: Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times. - Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment. - Perform Minor Electrical repairs and installs alone or as part of a team. Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Utilize on the job training of all shop mechanic personnel. - Install pneumatic tubing, layout tubing on skids, and connect to end devices. - Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks. - Install wire and cable laid by hand, and in cable trays. - Assist with changes to panel selection, wiring, etc. - Maintain a file of installation design and technique for new units through pictures and diagrams. - Test control panels and make connections in compliance with 10lb pull tests. - Perform unit certification, final inspection, and test document. - Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing.
