Min USD $31.51/Hr. Max: USD $48.83/Hr. Overview: Patient Safety Coordinator I actively supports Memorial Health’s patient safety program by promoting safe practices, nurturing a just culture and improving processes that detect, mitigate, or prevent harm. The coordinator supports operational compliance with regulations and standards, facilitates constant readiness activities and guides the organization through the survey process and findings. Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health care field is required.• An associate’s degree in nursing or health care field with at least 10 years of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Licensure/Certification/Registry: • Current Illinois license in respective profession is highly preferred but not required.• Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred but not required. • Certified Just Culture preferred but not required.
