As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you are responsible for performing the annual inspections of the service lift and all work equipment inside the wind turbine. You’ll work in a small team of technicians and gradually develop into an independent specialist in your field. De Groot Hijstechniek will support you with training and certification programs. Your daily tasks include inspecting, diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing components within the turbine. You perform maintenance and inspections on both electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise. You’ll work at various locations across the Netherlands, sometimes in remote areas, so having no fear of heights is a must.
