Summary Job Description: Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, Neuro Intermediate Unit Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm) Benefit Eligible: Job Duties: We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. About the Unit: The Neuro Intermediate Unit (NIU) is a 41-bed unit specializing in both Neuroscience and Progressive Care (PCU) step-down nursing . With excellent nurse-to-patient ratios ( 3–4:1 ), our team provides exceptional, high-quality care to adult patients. Our 41-bed unit is composed of 15 Neuro specific beds and 26 intermediate specific beds; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high quality patient and staff centric care with the full support of our providers and support staff. Our team is supported with 24/7 leadership on the unit including two clinical coordinators available on dayshift & nightshift and a stoke coordinator.
