$7,000.00 Sign-On Bonus Facility: Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina Department: Emergency Department Job Family: Professional Work Shift: Nights (United States of America) Summary: This position requires the individual to perform patient care and transportation duties up to the level authorized by the EMT-P certification in the State of North Carolina. In concert with state certification and local medical control, the incumbent will contribute to a busy metropolitan “advanced life support” ambulance service providing emergency, non-emergency, convalescent, and long-distance service. The individual is required to obtain and accurately record all available billing information, including signatures, and to thoroughly and accurately document physical findings and treatment rendered on a patient care record. Work load for the position is considered demanding and the service sets specific performance requirements which must be met. The position may work under the supervision of a Shift Supervisor and a training officer. Will perform rescue duties with an assigned crew or individually as needed.
