Job Title Acoustic Engineer – Medical Device (Cambridge, MA) Job Description: Acoustic Engineer – Medical Device (Cambridge, MA) Contributing to the technical aspects of projects that develop new intracardiac echo products including algorithms and transducers, the Acoustic Engineer will conduct advanced development activities to create innovative technology to improve image guided therapy delivery in the structural heart disease space. Your role: Apply acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to the design and specification of new cardiac imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems. Participate in design, development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities: including development plans, algorithm design and specification, integration strategy, 3D intracardiac echo transducer technology, and SW implementation. Tune intracardiac echo ultrasound systems for optimum image quality and imaging features. Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management organizations to define new cardiac imaging feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs.
