The Clinical Ops Diabetes department is currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant 2 to work onsite in Miami. The Medical Assistant 2 performs multi-skilled tasks to assist the medical providers. The Medical Assistant 2 assists patients’ healthcare management and clinical procedures in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service. The Medical Assistant 2 provides hands-on care to patients while adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures, under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician. The physician in charge may delegate the tasks to oversee the MA 2 to a Nurse or Designee in charge of the unit/clinic.
