SUMMARY: The Senior Assessor applies building condition assessment processes and technical standards in conducting (specialized) asset assessments for the purpose of identifying asset condition and deficiencies. Reduced site assessments to 30-50%. Senior Assessor also supports the Manager/Director to plan and oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects that will help ensure the projects are delivered within scope, budget and requirements. At this position level: - Projects are typically of low to moderate complexity, risk and exposure. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Building Condition Assessments: - Applies knowledge of building condition assessment processes and technical standards in conducting asset assessments, annual building inspections and other specialized asset assessments. - Conducts asset condition assessments / reporting (30-50%). - Identifies and evaluates specialized asset component and systems conditions and deficiencies. - Completes asset assessment condition reports utilizing asset assessment management software. - Provides recommendations and cost estimates for building envelopes, components and systems repair or replacement for inclusion in the capital b...
