POSITION: Bartender STATUS: Part-Time / Hourly + Tips REPORTS TO: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager FACILITY: Liberty Park PAY RATE: $11.00 per hour + tips This position is responsible for bar setup and preparing/serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons during various events. QUALIFICATIONS : - He/she must be a high school graduate or equivalent. - He/she must be 21 or older. - He/she should have experience bartending. - Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and familiarity with standard drink recipes. - Must be willing to learn and operate POS system. - Must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of time. - Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 50+ pounds. - Ability to work in a noisy environment. - Ability to work well around a large number of people. - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. - Certification in an Alcohol Awareness Program or willingness to be certified in an Alcohol Awareness Program/ (RAMP). - Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
