Overview ABOUT THE POSITION: Environmental Project Manager | Long Island, NY VHB is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager to join and strengthen our Long Island team. This role leads and supports the preparation of environmental review documentation under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), with a focus on permitting and entitlements across a diverse range of project types. The Environmental Project Manager plans, schedules, and coordinates complex planning efforts for major projects or multiple mid-sized initiatives. The role requires full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and executing planning assignments, including land use analysis and development strategy. This position also serves as a technical specialist, maintaining strong internal and external relationships while ensuring project delivery aligns with regulatory requirements and client objectives.
