Job description

The Team Northern Tasmanian Pathology Service (NTPS) provides Pathology services to Launceston General Hospital and the Northern regions of Tasmania. We are the only public pathology service operating in North Tasmania. NTPS aims to deliver a high-quality service to general practitioners, medical specialists and private hospitals, providing patients with no out of pocket expenses for Medicare eligible tests. The team at NTPS comprises a large team involving multi-disciplinary scientists, technicians, non-technical staff and Pathologists. The Role: This role will primarily work within the core laboratory, assisting with specimen processing, interpreting results, performing assigned tasks and confidently communicating with clinicians and other clinical staff on a routine basis.
