Assistant Survey Field Technician 1

Job description

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to work out of our Southpointe, PA office. The ideal candidate will learn survey terminology and references, equipment calibration techniques, conduct measurements required for technical survey work, and learn to set up tripods and other basic equipment. Experience is not required, we will train the right individual Job Duties: - Apply theory and principles of surveying to modify, test, and operate survey equipment. - Work both in office environments and in the field. - Handle basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. - Produce tabulating data, and prepares field notes, and sketches. - Possess strong organizational skills. - Follow all safety policies, requirements, and wear proper PPE.
