Clinical Coordinator - Liberty Emergency Department - Full Time - Nights

Job description

The Clinical Coordinator works under the direction of the Manager in support of Patient Care Services and unit specific goals. They are responsible for assisting with the coordination of patient care and providing support and directions for staff in the performance of their duties. They also provide direct patient care as necessary. They supervise daily operations assuring regulatory compliance and acting as a liaison between management and staff. The Clinical Coordinator is instrumental in creating a positive public image and working environment. Administrative Leadership: - Participates in performance improvement initiatives in assigned areas to improve outcomes. - Demonstrates knowledge of job standards and key requirements for each staff position in assigned areas of responsibility, holding staff accountable for the responsibilities inherent to their positions. Communicates with Manager regarding staff performance. Has knowledge of and insures all Joint Commission requirements are followed by all staff.
