ABOUT THE HOUSING DEPARTMENT: The Housing Department coordinates efforts to meet the housing needs of low, moderate, and middle-income residents through initiatives that create and preserve affordable housing, especially for families with children, and offers access to affordable housing. The Housing Department oversees the use of Trust funds and works with affordable housing developers to leverage this funding with resources from other public and private funders. The Department also works with partners to ensure new affordable housing reflects the City’s commitment to high quality, environmentally sustainable design and construction, and creates valuable resources for future residents and the community. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Inclusionary Rental Housing Associate will be a key member of the Housing Department’s inclusionary rental housing program team. They will work with rental applicants, tenants, City staff, non-profit organizations, Cambridge and other Public Housing Authorities, private housing developers and managers, and other housing advocates and service providers.
