Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities: - Counseling Services : Provide individual, group, and/or parent counseling as outlined in each student's IEP. - Student Referrals : Create and manage referral assessments for Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS). - Collaboration and consultation : Collaborate with school staff to interpret assessment results and develop appropriate interventions. - Work closely with teachers, school administrators/directors, and other school personnel to address students' needs and provide insights on mental health issues. - Provide consultation and training to school staff and other therapists on mental health topics and effective strategies for supporting students. - Therapeutic Support : Offer behavioral support and crisis counseling as needed. - Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes on the platform provided by the company.
