Responsibilities: This is a full-time position based out of Whitehorse, requiring flexibility in availability and the ability to be away from home for extended periods. - Operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle primarily on the Dempster Highway from Whitehorse to Inuvik - Ensure safe and timely delivery of cargo while adhering to all transportation regulations and company policies - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain truck safety and compliance - Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation, including logbooks, inspection reports, and delivery receipts - Navigate challenging road conditions, including gravel roads, ice roads, and mountain passes - Manage load securement and weight distribution to ensure safe transport - Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other drivers...
