Hourly Pay Range: $40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: RN Lactation Consultant: - Position: Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant - Location: Arlington Heights, IL - Full Time/Part Time: Part time, 20 hours per week - Hours: Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 (variable), rotation of Saturday coverage - Required Travel: no What you will do: - Serves as a consultant to the inpatient units when difficulties with a breastfeeding dyad are beyond the knowledge or training of a staff nurse. - Consults, develops and implements breastfeeding procedures including follow-up evaluations for breastfeeding patients and assessments of pregnant patients referred by the hospital staff, physician or physician's office staff. - Serves as a liaison between the community and NWCH providing ongoing expertise, education and support to groups and individuals. - Provides a communication link between the hospital and physician's office to assure coordination of patient care and maintains communication with physicians concerning patients experiencing breastfeeding problems. - Works with the appropriate...
