POSITION SUMMARY: Marathon Petroleum Company is seeking a Lab Tester to support the Mandan Refinery located in North Dakota. The Lab Tester is considered an essential and active member that supports the front-line Refinery teams. The Lab Tester has a primary objective to perform lab operations in a safe, environmentally sound, and reliable manner. This objective is accomplished through the acquirement of a wide variety of Lab technical skills. In addition, the establishment of proactive and planned work practices, adherence to established procedures, the development of the ability to anticipate lab problems in advance, the capability to troubleshoot or respond to problems quickly, and the adoption of a culture of continuous improvement. The Lab runs on a 24-hour schedule and will require rotating 12 hour shift work. This position is located in Mandan, ND and reports to the Laboratory Supervisor.
