Bridge Structural Project Engineer

Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking a Structural (Bridge) Engineer for its New York, NY office. The successful candidate will design simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel, concrete, and precast/pre-stress construction) and a variety of transportation-related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software for public clients including NYSDOT, NYCDOT and MTA. The bridge design work encompasses new and replacement bridges, bridge widening, and bridge rehabilitation. Individuals will perform analysis on all design phases, structural modeling, structural calculation, and plan production. The candidate must be able to successfully work independently as well as work with and/or lead a team of structural engineers and drafters, as well as coordinate with other project disciplines, working closely with clients to meet their objectives.
