Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager What you will do Safety by monitoring and evaluating environmental, health and safety conditions; assuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures and governmental standards; and maintenance. How you will do it: Be knowledgeable in JCI Best Business Practices and incorporate in programs. Educate, motivate and train personnel in good housekeeping practices, safe work procedures, PPE, etc. Engaging the entire work force both salary and hourly to drive cultural change and accomplishing safety performance objectives and targets. Performing job hazard analysis and ergonomic risk assessments and creating action plans to reduce risk. Performing incident investigations using an 8D process, with the focus on root cause, corrective and preventive actions and verification. Maintain safety matrix and data base to support all necessary safety training as outlined by JCI and OSHA standards. Managing workers compensation and reducing costs by working closely with insurance carriers and state authorities, along with in-house supervisors and managers.
