36 Hours per week Day shift hours with weekday call nights and weekend call. Variable shift times. Job Summary: Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, patient care services department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BCLS required. ACLS and PALS within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire/transfer. Certification in area of expertise preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2 years of ICU or PACU experience required.
