Job description

Downer is searching for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This is a full-time opportunity, you must be available to work a rotating roster, for example: After completing a full shift rotation, there is a break of approximately 3 to 3.5 weeks before starting the next rotation. During this period, employees work standard day shifts (07:00 – 15:00). - 5 day shifts (07:00 – 15:00) - 2 days off - 5 afternoon shifts (15:00 – 23:00) - 2 days off - 5 night shifts (23:00 – 07:00) - RDO or 1–2 days off What you’ll do: - Installation, maintenance and repair of centralised plant and HVAC systems - Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults - Performing scheduled servicing, performance testing and system adjustments - Cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining systems in accordance with warranties and compliance - Participation in all Zero Harm initiatives - Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, and safety concerns - Promoting a proactive, team-focused safety culture - Managing and scheduling your own work effectively - Supporting service improvement, quality control and risk mitigation - Working collaboratively with clinical staff, internal te...
