Position: Technical Accounting Senior I Job Description: The Technical Accounting Senior is responsible for researching, interpreting and applying complex accounting standards and regulations. This role involves interpreting complex financial data, developing accounting policies, and providing guidance on technical accounting issues to internal stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires managing the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and delivering detailed financial reports. By staying informed on industry developments and regulatory changes, the Technical Accounting Senior helps the organization maintain transparency and integrity in its financial operations. This role will report to the Technical Accounting Manager. What You’ll Be Doing: Perform technical research and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions, including equity compensation and debt. Analyze, record, and reconcile complex transactions in the GL, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness across areas such as equity awards, debt, and environmental accruals.
