About the Role: Job Summary Performs various security related duties to ensure the safety of hospital patients, visitors and staff. Responds to all incidents of disruptive/assaultive individuals, investigates reports of suspicious activity and performs customer service functions as described by policy/procedures. Armed Security Officers will perform facility and grounds patrols and inspections. Officers will report their daily activities in a log and/or incident reports; and conduct other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor. Minimum Job Qualifications: Licensure or other certifications: Valid GA Drivers License and current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Minimum Experience: Military, police, corrections, private security background (minimum of two (2) years experience required).
