The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by building an underground network of tunnels. Today, we’re developing technology to increase tunneling speed and reduce costs by an order of magnitude—unlocking rapid, scalable transit in dense urban environments. We are seeking a Lead Civil Engineer (PE) to support our Las Vegas operations as a hands-on, technical individual contributor. This role owns civil engineering execution from concept through construction and works closely with field teams to deliver safe, buildable designs in a fast-paced environment. In this role you'd act as a mentor and inspiration to more junior people in the team, with the goal of moving into a team leader/management position in the mid-long term future.
