Description Sonic: Assistant Store Manager: Department: Food Service: Job Status: Full Time: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Reports To: Store Manager: Grade/Level: High School or Equivalent: Amount of Travel Required: As Necessary Work Schedule: Positions Supervised: Entire Team POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Store Manager is knowledgeable of all aspects of the store and assumes full responsibility of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Duties and responsibilities are generally the same as those of the Store Manager. The Assistant Manager is essentially training to become a Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager directly supervises associates in the store. Duties may include management functions, such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, in addition to supervisory duties.
