Working to protect the state’s environment and heritage. - Senior Communications & Ministerial Officer, Clerk 9/10 - Ongoing full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity - Office location – NSW NPWS Office locations negotiable - Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and leave loading About the role: The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has a unique opportunity for a Senior Communications and Ministerial Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage. The role provides expert advice to NPWS staff and management on effective communication to assist in issues management and build awareness of NPWS programs and resources through internal channels and timely responses to Ministerial requests. This is via review and QA of briefs, correspondence and Parliamentary documents, working at pace to meet deadlines, managing requests via a central mailbox and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the agency and department.
