EHS Engineer

Job Description: The EHS Engineer supports the EHS Leads and project team in the safe construction of a project. This position assists the project team in planning, monitoring work activities, and achieving correction of unsafe acts or conditions while working at project site. The role encompasses ensuring a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors. A successful EHS Engineer develops positive professional relationships while working closely with field personnel, all levels of management, and outside agencies during all phases of construction. They must be dedicated to upholding compliance and standards in ever-changing, fast-paced environment while also navigating broad spectrum of skill levels, seniority, and authority levels. The EHS Engineer assists the project management team in developing and executing site-specific EHS program and activities. Develop, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project level. Document, track, and correct or reinforce EHS violations/initiatives, unsafe/safe conditions, unsafe/safe behaviors, etc. Conduct work area EHS audits.
