The Assistant Softball Coach of Women’s Softball reports to the Head Coach and the Director of Athletics. Assists in overseeing all aspects of operating a successful college level intercollegiate athletic program. All responsibilities will be under the leadership of the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics. Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA: Qualifications: - Assist student-athletes in obtaining spiritual growth and track academic progress. Provide appropriate advice and assistance to help ensure the success of each student-athlete’s spiritual development and completed stated program of study. - Instruction of student-athletes – teaching sport-specific skills, tactics, and techniques required per team and individualized workouts, practices, and games. - Report any known or suspected violations of the NCAA and/or university rules by head coach, assistant coach(es), student-athletes, staff, etc. promptly to the Director of Athletics. - Assist in organizing and supervising all practices, games, and other workout sessions for the team.
